What is the MyChart app?

Can a teen have a MyChart account in Hawaii?
Hawaii state law also allows them to receive specific medical care confidentially. In order to make sure that it is the teenager activating the account and not a parent or legal guardian, Queen’s Health System requires account sign up and activation to only occur in person. What is MyChart and what can it do for Queen’s patients?
Login MyChart® gives Queen’s patients online access to their medical information. With MyChart you can request prescription refills, have a video visit with your doctor, access your test results, and much more! The Queen’s Health System wants you to be involved in your health and medical care.
Can you add videos to your watch history?
Videos you watch may be added to the TV’s watch history and influence TV recommendations. To avoid this, cancel and sign in to YouTube on your computer.

How old do you have to be to use MyChart?
MyChart is available to individuals age 18 years or older currently receiving care from a MyChart participating healthcare provider. A parent or legal guardian can request online access to medical records for his/her children who are less than 14 years old. (In consideration of the complexities of federal and state laws relating to minors and consent, all MyChart access is revoked when the child turns 14.) Child Proxy Request Form (PDF)
How long does it take to receive a MyChart answer?
You will generally receive an answer within 3 business days. Please note that MyChart should not be used for urgent situations. Please contact your medical center if the situation requires immediate attention or dial 911 if it is an emergency.
Can I use MyChart on my computer?
You can access MyChart on any device that has access to the internet with a compatible web browser that is up to date (Microsoft Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari). This includes desktop computers, laptop computers, tablets, and smart phones.
