What is MyChart and how does it work?

Our staff are educated in confidentiality and the appropriate use of medical information. MyChart is an Internet application that enables a patient to have secure, web-based access to portions of their electronic medical record and allows secure messaging with your provider or clinic.

Is my MyChart access code confidential?

It is extremely important that you keep your MyChart access code, login ID and password completely confidential from anyone. If your access code and password is available to others, they will be able to view your medical information and communicate with your clinic as if they were you.

How to renew prescriptions on MyChart?

If you’re out of refills at your pharmacy, you can ask for a renewal for a currently prescribed medication. Simply log into your MyChart account, select “Refill Medications,” choose the medication and pharmacy, then click submit.

How long does it take for MyChart to process a dependent?

We will process these request forms within 2 to 3 weeks. Once your request form has been processed, you will see your dependent’s MyChart account automatically linked to yours.

How old do you have to be to get proxy access?

If you are a legal guardian or parent of a minor under 13 years old, you can request proxy access. You must have your own MyChart log in first.

How to change notification preferences in mysfm?

In order to change your current notification preferences, go to “Account” at the upper right-hand corner of the portal. Under “Account” select Edit next to the patient name whose notification preferences you’d like to change. Then, select “Preferences” and under “Communication” you will see your current email notification preferences. Simply select or deselect which information you would like to be notified of via email. Make sure to select “Save my changes” in the bottom right hand corner to apply your changes.

How to see lab results on a lab?

To see your lab results, select “Health Records” from the menu on the left-hand side of your screen. You will then be shown your most recent Health Records. If this is the record you would like to look at, click “View Full Summary” to read the entire record.
